Some last minute instructions before we started.
"It's not easy being green" Bill Preininger.
There we a lot of tables and groups cooking chili. These two pictures are the "non-commercial" group.
Notice the women wiping her eyes. There was A LOT OF SPICES in the air. I was sweating before we ate anything. Just walking around the place and breathing the fumes was enough.
There were a variety of bikes to see. Nortons...I can't resist Norton's.
Each table had some kind of decoration on it. These guys were definitely into the pirate theme.
Talk about "corporate sponsorship". I wonder what kind of beer this person likes?
A Suzuki 750 "Water Buffalo" Love that color.
OK, picture this. The town square in Plymouth, chili cooking, rock bands playing, middle aged dancers line dancing while leather clad Harley riders are watching.
Lining up for the ride at BMW Motorcycles of Southern Michigan
On Sunday, September 30 2007, Bill Preininger and I took part in a benefit ride that was hosted by BMW Motorcycles of Southern Michigan in Canton. The scenic ride through Caton and Plymouth (which was led and escorted by the Caton Police) ended in Plymouth for their annual Chili Cookoff. It was a fine day for eating chili, smoking stinky cigars, looking at bikes (lots of Harley's) general people watching, having a cold refreshment in the local bar and admiring well endowed women. What more could you ask for?
Your basic tricycle with a mammoth V-8 stuffed in it. I guess you never can have too much power and too long handle bars.
