Who (or what) was your biggest influence in motorcycling?
My son got me started in motorcycling. He has also influenced my riding style. I started with sport touring bikes and gravitated to high performance sport bikes.
Favorite place to ride:
North and South Carolina, Georgia
Most memorable motorcycle adventure:
For many years I did a two-week motorcycle tour each summer, with my son and others (including Keith Danielson on a few trips). Our favorite destination was the Rocky Mountains, covering the Canadian Rockies to northern New Mexico in several different trips. Camping at night added to the enjoyment as you meet many interesting people in campgrounds.
Best motorcycle advice or tip learned over the years:
The instruction through the Keith Code Superbike School has been the best.
Best question that wasn’t asked:
What turns you on the most about motorcycling or why do you like to ride?
1. I get a sense of accomplishment when riding well.
2. Riding fully occupies the mind and provides immediate release from work situations or other tensions.
