How did you first hear about the HSTA:
Saw a bunch of bikes at a HSTA Saturday Breakfast meeting and just walked in!
First Bike:
1968 Honda Super 90
Favorite Bike:
1968 Honda 305 Scrambler and the present bike I own a 2004 Honda CBR 1000RR.
Who (or what) was your biggest influence in motorcycling?
My High School buddies when I first started riding and Nick Doohan in GP Racing.
Favorite place to ride:
The traditional “Sunday Morning Ride” out to Hamburg, Stockbridge and Waterloo.
Most memorable motorcycle adventure:
The 2004 MMM trip. This was my first Michigan Mountain Madness trip and it was everything that they (my fellow HSTA riders) said it was and more.
Best motorcycle advice or tip learned over the years:
When you are going really good and start feeling immortal, be careful. Slow in, fast out.
What turns you on the most about motorcycling or why do you like to ride?
The challenge, speed, cornering, fear, trying to improve constantly on technique. Its’ fun!
What do you get out of the HSTA?
Knowledge, friendship and adventures.
Hobbies and interests outside of motorcycling:
Bicycle riding, dogs, rally cars and SciFi movies.
