Jan Pennington Wins the
2007 SMOTY Award

On January 5, 2008, the Michigan Squadron of the HSTA celebrated their first SMOTY award. There was a large gathering at Karl's Cabin that night of members and their families. Jan Pennington walked away with the award hands down. See more pictures of this event.

On January 4, 2008, I attended the Novi Bike Show at the Rock Financial Showplace. This is a great place to sit on bikes, check out the latest accessories and admire the girls in very skimpy outfits. Check out the pictures here.

NEW TECHNOLOGY
In my quest to keep this site fresh and interesting as possible, the pictures for the SMOTY Awards and Bike Show are set up as a Flash slide show. Ok, stop panicking. The interface is very simple. Push the "Next Picture" to go forward and push "Previous Picture" to go back. I think that's pretty easy. Most browsers support Flash content, however, if your browser doesn't, go to your browsers site and download the latest version. Or go to www.adobe.com, and download the Flash projector for your system. If I get enough complains, I will change back to the old format.

The HSTA Michigan Squadron meets regularly, typically on the fourth Saturday of each month with occasional exceptions. Everyone is encouraged to join the group for breakfast. The only requirement is that you are a motorcyclist at heart.
